Read This First

1. When you use AdaCare from your phone or other mobile device, you're using cellular or WiFi data. Your mobile carrier may charge you for data usage. Please contact your carrier for your current data rates.

2. Before displaying a map, your web browser may ask for permission to use your location. If you deny permission, some mobile phones will block your location from AdaCare permanently. If this happens, please read your phone's manual to reset location services.

3. Your current location on maps is based on local cellular, WiFi, and GPS signals. The accuracy of your location may vary quite a bit depending on many factors. Please remember that your location on maps may not be accurate.

Getting Started

Go to the Home page by tapping on the upper-left button.

There is also a Support menu. Open the menu by tapping the upper-right button. Close the menu by swiping to the right.

Tips for Android Phones

Add an AdaCare button to your home screen

Newer Android phones let you add a button to your home screen, a shortcut that takes you directly to AdaCare. Instead of typing the web address every time, just tap your new button to go directly to AdaCare.

  1. Open the Chrome web browser. If you don't already have Chrome, you can install it from the Google Play store.
  2. Log in to AdaCare.
  3. Go to the Home page.
  4. Tap the Settings menu.
  5. When the settings menu opens, tap the Add to homescreen button.
  6. In the next window, just tap the Add button and you're done!

ShareThe next time you want to use AdaCare, just tap your new button. Your phone will open Chrome and take you directly to AdaCare — no typing needed!

Allow AdaCare to use location services

When you display maps, your phone may ask for permission to use your location. If you deny permission, your location may be blocked from AdaCare permanently. To turn this service back on, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap Apps & notifications
  3. Tap Advanced (needs to read ON)
  4. Location slider (needs to be green)
  5. Tap Chrome (you may need to scroll down - should be set to While Using the App

Tips for Apple iPhone

The Apple iPhone lets you add a button to your home screen, a shortcut that takes you directly to AdaCare. Instead of typing the web address every time, just tap your new button to go directly to AdaCare.

  1. Log in to AdaCare.
  2. Go to the Home page.
  3. ShareAt the bottom of Safari's screen, tap the Share button.
  4. When the sharing options window opens, tap the Add to Home Screen button.
  5. In the next window, just tap the Add button and you're done!

  6. Tap While Using the App

The next time you use AdaCare's maps, you'll be asked for permission as usual.

  1. Open the Internet Explorer web browser.
  2. Log in to AdaCare.
  3. Go to the Home page.
  4. Tap the "three dots" menu button on the lower-right corner of the screen.
  5. When the menu opens, tap the pin to start button.
  6. You're done!

The next time you want to use AdaCare, just tap your new button. Your phone will open Internet Explorer and take you directly to AdaCare — no typing needed!
